This latest MINI GP uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine developing 306bhp and 450Nm of torque and can continue all the way to its top speed of 164mph. It is front-wheel drive and comes exclusively with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. 0-62mph takes 5.2 seconds, which is staggeringly quick for a front-wheel-drive car, and that’s exactly how the GP feels. Only 575 examples of the 3,000 built were be sold to UK buyers, so it's a very exclusive car, and the unique body styling makes this car stand out head an shoulders above everything that went before it. The exoskeleton-style, Carbon-Fibre wheel arches have been added to allow MINI to widen the front track, to give the car added grip, and the engine has relentless thrust all the way through the mid-range and right up to its 6,500rpm rev limiter. It's a very exciting car to drive.
