We have heard lots of mis-information about the upcoming changes so want to clarify;
• There is NO change to the VAT rules on pick-up trucks. VAT can still be reclaimed as previously.
• The change only surrounds ‘BIK’ benefit in kind. From 6th April 25’ This change only applies to those who use the vehicle for private use. If you do not use the vehicle for private use, then you do not pay the BIK charge. If for example you have a 2nd car that you use for personal use instead of your pick-up, then BIK does not apply. ***
